Hopefully Warner Bros will now give Sefton Hill & his crew license to their whole movie back catalogue - including all the Kubrick films. They cant keep making Batman games
The story and character choices in Heavy Rain are just not credible. I was enjoying the Scott Shelby compassionate detective procedural until he randomly turned into Mad Dog McCree. First he has a lot of empathy then… no empathy. Well it’s either one or the other. You won’t find Scott Shelby anywhere on the DSM IV. That’s because his mental condition is called ‘being ridiculous’. People don’t suffer from ‘ridiculous’ in real life so why does Cage think the player will buy it? Basically Cage has no emotional intelligence. I don’t think they can teach this at writing school either.
I guess you can apply the same theory to Iraq. These people have a shitty life with nothing to live for. So its ok to invade em for their oil. Some innocent people might get killed. But that doesnt matter because they had nothing to live for anyway. We're helping them by killing them, see. They would thank us & shake us by the hand if they hadn't been fragmented. And we get to use all that great oil.
Chris Dahlen meets the director of interactive fiction documentary Get Lamp and remembers how rich a world that only costs the time it takes to write it can be.

I like your sense of logic
